What a Scorcher of a weekend!! The PRTP team must me stoked with this gone weekend … You couldn’t have asked for finer conditions for the Surf Festival. With a turn out of over 50,000 Brighton & Hove lawns were heaving. On Sunday morning I manage to run a land lesson and on my return up Queens St I witnessed a sea of people rolling out of Brighton station … Not seen anything like that since Norman Cookes 2nd Big Beat Boutique on the beach nearly 10 years ago.
Though the wind was not so good for lessons on the water we succeeded on land. Sunday we flew some kites, had much fun and meet some old’ n new faces! This year is the first time BN1 graced itself at the festival and I would just like to thank my team who I couldn’t have done it without … Though I believe Marks van may have been the real crowd puller.
Not forgetting big thumbs up to Dave Samuel and his team who make great hosts and possibly put up with a lot of head aches we never see …
Ps. Big Hand to the lady who chucked herself of the the high dive platform into the air bag … She look like Mary Popins as the skirt cam up to break the fall.
